Mission Tips & Tricks
2. Defeat the Dominion Force - Tips
Destroy Turrets As Soon as Possible
Out of all the mooks in the area, the Turrets will pose the biggest threat to you and your team so deal with them quickly. Their long range, high damage attacks can bring you down easily if you're not paying attention.
4. Defeat the Ancient Ash Titan - Tips
Time Your Jumps to the Fire Ring Attack
Gauge if the Fire Ring will be on ground-level or in the air before jumping up or you might get caught in the middle of it. Watch where it will come from the Titan to know how high it will be.
Dash Away from Summoned Fire Balls
You'll get a split second to dash away before the Summoned Fire Balls explode. If your screen starts getting too bright, better move away or you'll get caught in its explosion.
Hide Behind Cover to Escape Homing Fire Balls
The Homing Fire Balls will follow after you relentlessly until it comes in contact with anything. Stay behind cover once the Titan summons them to impede their trajectory towards you.
10. Beat the Dominion Furies - Tips
Steer Clear of Furies' Lightning Attack
The Furies will have a new lightning attack in this Stronghold Mission that hits like a truck! Once the Fury raises its hand in the air, better fly away as the lightning will soon come after.
Detonate the Ice/Storm Orbs
The Ice/Storm Orbs will continually release lightning damage around them until they're destroyed. They can easily limit your moving area if left alone. Shoot them from a distance to destroy them.
12.~14. Battle with the Monitor - Tips
Batlle is the Same as in Return to the Heart of Rage Mission
The Battle with The Monitor will play out in the same way as it did in the Return to the Heart of Rage Mission. Everything will be the same from his attacks, elemental phases, and areas.Check Out Return to the Heart of Rage
Focus Fire on Glowing Areas on Monitor
The Monitor's weak points continuously shift depending on where he is casting his attacks, which will glow a bright yellow. Focus on those points to deal additional damage with every shot.
12. Battle the Monitor (1st Phase) - Tips
Shoot the Red Orbs Before They Detonate
You can prevent the Red Orbs from exploding on you and taking a chunk of your health by safely shooting it from a distance. It will still explode so make sure there are no allies near it.
Fly Away when The Monitor Detonate Red Orbs
If you didn't get to destroy the orbs, then better be ready to fly away once the Monitor decides to detonate them. The windup to do this is him raising his glowing hand in the air and bringing it down on the ground.
13. Battle the Monitor (Phase 2) - Tips
Do Not Melee the Mordant Elemental
The Mordant Elemental explodes into a cloud of Acid when defeated. Meleeing them is an easy way for you to take acid damage and an acid debuff. Better stick with guns when dealing with them.
Weave Left & Right to Escape Acid Balls
When flying, make yourself into a harder target by swerving left to right. This will make it harder for the Mordant Elementals' and the Monitor's acid balls from hitting you.
14. Battle the Monitor (Phase 3) - Tips
Stay on High Ground to Escape Ring of Lightning
Every time the Monitor teleports, a ring of lightning expands from where he appears. You can escape this by jumping or staying in high ground.
Dash Away from Fast Moving Lightning Balls
The Lightning Balls travel quickly, hones in on players, and come in groups. Immediately dash out of the way or stay behind cover before they come in contact with you.
